Responsible for the underwriting of
transactions in a flow leasing platform for the GE Capital Americas -
Equipment Finance business
Negotiate terms and conditions for transactions and work with deal teams to ensure appropriate documentation is in place.
Prepare risk assessments and present senior management with a clear and consistent approach to mitigate risks.
Manage existing commercial accounts, perform rigorous
analysis of transactions, and resolve problem accounts in partnership
with deal teams and specialists.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with two years of experience (or High School
diploma/GED and six years of experience) in commercial underwriting,
auditing or portfolio management.
Eligibility Requirments:
Must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

Desired Qualifications:
Solid analytical skills.
Should be able to analyze customer operations and finances
in order to determine credit worthiness in accordance with underwriting
guidelines
Ability to work both independently and within a team
environment – as well as successful experiences working on
cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of various finance products and structures including: loans and leases,
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Motivated individual with a strong work ethic demonstrated through attendance, individual and team commitments.
Demonstrated ability to work with various GE and/or financial software applications.
Experience underwriting State and Local Governments a plus
