The Legal Entity Analyst role in the General Electric Capital Corporation (GECC) Capital Management team is responsible for assisting in the capital adequacy oversight of Prudentially Regulated Entities (“PRE”) and contributing toward the development of the capital adequacy policy and framework for Management Legal Entities (“MLE”) as well as the periodic review process for other legal entities.
The Analyst serves as a legal entity subject matter expert and supports the legal entity ICAAP target setting process. Is also responsible for monitoring quarterly double leverage ratios and reviewing equity infusions and intercompany debt transactions.
The role provides multiple opportunities to communicate results to senior management and work with other support partners and Business Units. The role offers strong collaboration with Finance and Risk functions at GECC HQ and Business Units provides a great opportunity to learn about all of GECC’s segments.

  • Assist in capital adequacy oversight of PREs which includes monitoring the current and projected capital adequacy ratios of PREs across Businesses and developing capital adequacy reports for quarterly PRE ALCO meetings
  • Contribute to the development of the capital adequacy framework and policy for MLEs and the periodic review process for other legal entities
  • Support the legal entity ICAAP target setting process
  • Monitor and reconcile quarterly regulatory double leverage ratios and inputs
  • Review equity infusions and intercompany debt transactions
  • Present results to management
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors’ Degree with 3+ years financial/risk analysis experience, or FMP/RMP/CAS Graduate (internal GE candidates only)
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Experience leading internal initiatives across different organizational areas
