The Solutions Architect will be involved with
IT projects across a variety of organizations and GE businesses. As a
part of these projects, the Solutions Architect will design solutions,
contribute to or lead the implementation of solutions, drive specific
initiatives from the CTO and CIO level, define and promote standards and
best practices across GE Corporate.
The
primary role of the solutions architect is to collaborate with
organizations and services across GE to ensure business needs are being
met with robust technology. In addition, the solutions architect will be
expected to:
Discover new technologies
Design new reference architectures and help guide the overall strategic direction of the GE Corporate IT strategy
Advise management on technology purchases and on future projects or environment enhancements
Collaborate with application teams to design and document technical solutions based on business and technical requirements
Collaborate with build teams to implement technical designs utilizing state of the art technical platforms and infrastructure
Develop and document reference architectures for standardizing platforms
Collaborate with application and build teams to evaluate and adopt new technologies
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years of experience with J2EE application servers such as Weblogic, JBoss and Tomcat, etc.
Minimum 2 year of experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, DB2, etc.Eligibility Requirements:

Experience as a Lead Developer or Lead Architect on large enterprise-level projects
