The Commercial Cloud Solutions Analyst will
work closely with the GE business application teams on new &
repeatable customer facing application services to provide commercial
cloud architecture & consumptions services, cloud solutions &
infrastructure services with emphasis on customer solutions, application
migrations & application project work.
Drive large Commercial & Cloud projects & initiatives for Corporate using standard project processes
Heavy Communications requirements on all Corporate Programs & Cloud Projects
Lead & Project Manage large commercial & cross-organizational projects
Leverage a global team of Project Managers, Architects, Engineers & Contractors
Drive new Cloud product & service introduction
Provide Project Oversight, Controllership & Focus
Provide high-level reviews on Cloud projects
Project Execution & Closure
Ensure Projects are Resourced, Scheduled, Balanced, Delivered, & Documented
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field (or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 8 years working in IT)
Minimum 3 years of experience managing large global projects from start to finish
Minimum 2 years of experience delivering customer based programs & projects
Minimum 2 years of experience delivering web, web based & web portal programs & services
Minimum 2 years of experience in working with web servers / proxies and understanding of HTTP protocol
Minimum 2 years of operational experience in application server technologies (J2EE / .NET)
Minimum 1 year of experience with public (AWS) & private (VMWare or Openstack) cloud experience

Experience in working with messaging middleware solutions and / or enterprise service bus technologies
Working knowledge of databases
Understanding and working knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle models (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
Experience with service oriented architecture technologies
Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through
the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships and
creates processes with customer viewpoint
Strong analytical skills – strong problem solving skills,
communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates
information / data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops
plans to resolve

supports and drives change and confronts difficult circumstances in
creative ways
Six Sigma Black Belt desired
Project Management (PMP) Certification desired
