The SHOPS (Strengthening Health Outcomes through the Private Sector) Project is a five-year Leader with Associates Cooperative Agreement. The mandate of this USAID-funded project is to increase the role of the private sector in the sustainable provision and use of quality family planning, HIV/AIDS, and other health information, products, and services.
SHOPS is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the activities under the NGO Sustainability portfolio of the SHOPS project. The NGO Sustainability Analyst will provide technical assistance with the aim to develop the partner NGO's capacity to improve its sustainability and increase its role to provide essential health services in developing countries. The NGO Sustainability Analyst will work directly with the NGO Sustainability Advisor.

Primary responsibilities include:
- As team member of the ProCapacity Index™ team, utilize the tool to assess the sustainability of NGOs and further develop and adapt the tool as required.
- Provide technical assistance to low-cost NGO health clinics in designing and implementing go-to-market strategies.
- Support the replication of NGO-corporate partnerships in Sub-Saharan Africa, including capturing lessons learned and developing reports and manuscripts on the model to contribute to global learnings on NGO-corporate partnerships.
- Other duties as assigned on program management and technical assistance on SHOPS project activities.
- At least 3 years of experience with MBA; MBA/MPH preferred.
- 1-3 years of health experience (domestic or international) and/or 1 – 3 years of NGO management experience.
- Expertise in operations and/or marketing preferred.
- Experience in strategy development, business planning, and market assessments preferred.
- Demonstrated capabilities in managing project tasks and budgets required.
- Experience working on USAID-funded contracts preferred.
- Comfortable with utilization and adaptation of assessment tools on various platforms including MS Excel and MS Access.
- Collaborative team member with excellent written and verbal communication skills
