As a member of the Direct Marketing Operations Team (DMOT) Center of Excellence (COE), the Supplier Surveillance Manager (SSM) is responsible for Level 1 compliance of Marketing managed suppliers. The SSM will lead a team of Supplier Surveillance analysts responsible for monitoring supplier activity. The SSM will partner with Supplier Managers to coordinate supplier reviews, testing activities, defect identification/resolution, training, and identify process improvements. Finally the SSM will c
  • Reporting to the Marketing Surveillance Leader this role’s primary responsibility is to ensure that Retail Finance Marketing suppliers comply with all legal regulations and legislation related to financial services.
  • SSM will manage the surveillance activities for all Marketing suppliers to ensure compliance with critical regulatory requirements.
  • Provide monitoring of all active Marketing suppliers and ensure the proper off-boarding of inactive suppliers.
  • Partner with business process owners and supplier managers to develop and implement robust risk mitigation controls.
  • Drive effective identification and management of compliance risks, develop solutions, and assist in full resolution.
  • Ensure significant risks are promptly escalated to the appropriate level.
  • Raise marketing regulatory awareness through training and education.
  • Establish effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Evaluate existing processes and improve assessment activities and the documentation that supports them.
  • Support business with transition to operating under OCC and CFPB governing organizations.

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 5 years financial service marketing experience
  • Minimum of 2 years supplier management experience
