GE Water has an immediate opening for an Account Manager. In this entry-level role, the incumbent will be responsible for acquiring sales skills, product knowledge and familiarizing themselves with GE Water & Process Technologies business. Will take on field task, which will enable them to build prospective accounts, build relationships and assist with customer service and account maintenance duties. Will partner with Acct Management team and assist in servicing and less complex sales.
Essential Responsibilities	In addition, you will: Learn to outline, present and sell the value of our products and services that can benefit our customer needs Participate in plant visits to gather samples, observe instruments, and obtain information and analyzes / interpret results and reports any corrective actions to the customer Conduct required training of operating personnel to ensure their understanding of the parameter under which their equipment operates Build upon internal relationships and starts to develop strong relationships with customers Partner with peers and management to enhance selling techniques and approaches Effectively coordinate relationships and interfaces with Commercial Operations, Technical Marketing, Product management and other functions Document observations at plant visits updates and contributes final reports intended for an internal audience Learn the market / competitive price and commercial operations principals / process Develop proficiency in monetizing the differentiated value for technology advantages and product performance Leverage experience team members / manager
Qualifications/Requirements	Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical), Biology, Chemistry or in a related discipline ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Ability and willingness to travel as required
