The Position

The Associate Director/Principal Finance Manager for Global Technical Development (PTD) is responsible for financial business partnering to the PTD group. The position will be based in SSF and reports to the Global Head of Finance for PTD.
Main responsibilities are:
  • Drive finance processes (business planning, budgeting, forecasting, & monthly close and reporting) working collaboratively with finance and business colleagues in Europe and the US
  • Work collaboratively with PTD Head of Resource and Portfolio Planning to establish planning guidelines, resource models, long range planning, governance committee preparation and guidance on portfolio changes
  • Ensure compliance of financial records and internal controls with corporate requirements
  • Provide cost transparency and enable fact-based decision making
  • Influence and help the business to achieve its operational and financial goals
  • Implement system improvements
  • Provide financial stewardship on capital investments and projects
  • Manage and lead a team of at least two direct reports
  • Interact with various stakeholders in finance and operations
  • Be involved in global and cross-functional initiatives

Who You Are

Qualifications:
  • >7 years experience in Finance is required
  • MBA preferred
  • Prior leadership experience with direct people management responsibility
  • Demonstrated excellence in customer relations and building partnerships managing stakeholders at all levels within an organization
  • Highly collaborative and comfortable managing relationships with several stakeholders
  • Strong modeling and financial analysis experience with very strong Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability in prioritizing multiple projects and working under pressure
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Ability to travel
