Job Summary
Apple
is looking for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Manager to drive
software stability testing for Macintosh Hardware. This is a position
where you will be responsible for a large lab designed to focus on
ensuring our Macs are the most stable computers we’ve ever shipped.
Qualifications:
Key Qualifications
- - 5+ years experience as a Software Quality Assurance manager
- - Excellent cross-functional communication and influence skills
- - Proven track record demonstrating the ability to build a team – attracting, hiring, retaining, motivating the best engineers
- - Experience testing mobile and/or desktop computers
- - Experience building development and automation tools
- - Comfortable with fast paced schedule driven development
- - Strong software engineering and development life cycle knowledge
- - Excellent verbal and written communication skills (ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience)
Description
Responsibilities
include compiling and reporting cross-functional SQA results, sharing
project information, reviewing our test plans for overlap and gaps, and
representing SQA in meetings with upper management. Additionally, you
will be responsible for enhancing and expanding the long-term
capabilities of the team. This includes championing new testing
strategies, developing automation strategies, and extending the
functionality of existing tools.
