We are currently seeking talented Manager Business Development for our San Antonio, TX facility.

PURPOSE OF JOB
Manages Business Development staff and works across various product lines and operating companies. Implements business plans to achieve financial goals and sales objectives. Establish operating processes to promote an efficient and effective operation. Increases revenue and improves new business profitability. Execute strategic activities that directly support the implementation and optimization of efforts to grow specific segment or product line sales, revenue, profit, and market share.
JOB DUTIES
  • Selects, develops, and supports employees; provides coaching and feedback that lead to sound business results and ensures that team members have the tools to achieve them. Manages employee performance and facilitates professional development of staff.
  • Works with Business Development leadership to develop business plan, financial goals, sales objectives, initial market analytics and rollout plan; raises awareness of USAA products and services as well as planning and ensuring approval of marketing products.
  • Implements business plans, financial goals, and sales objectives. Analyzes and appraises effectiveness of sales methods, costs and results.
  • Develops, maintains, and monitors policies and processes to ensure the attainment of business goals and objectives. Identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of competitive landscape, products and services, and regulatory requirements; conducts regular market and key client reviews.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of professional work experience.
  • 7+ years of real estate brokerage OR sales leadership experience.
  • 2+ years of management or leadership experience.
  • Experience influencing mortgage market.
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
  • Expert knowledge of relocation and/or mortgage business performance metrics, goals and objectives.
Preferred
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Strong Real Estate Brokerage and Real Estate Lending Acumen.
  • Strength in vendor relations management.
  • Passion for metrics and reporting.
  • Ability to work well in a matrix environment.
  • Sales program development knowledge.
  • Proven Sales team leader.
  • Motivational personality, ethical and demonstrated market share growth capabilities.
***Selected candidates will attend and complete the Management Development School program in San Antonio, TX, during their first six months in position.***
