The
MIS Support Technician is responsible for handling requests that come
into the MIS Helpdesk. MIS encompasses a wide range of applications
including Oracle, Project Performance System, Unanet, etc. There are
also several scheduled tasks that are on the MIS Helpdesk calendar that
must be performed at various, scheduled intervals. These scheduled tasks
typically are queries that generate information required by users. The
MIS Support Technician will run the selected query and put the query
result into Excel and forward onto the end user.
High
school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree preferred. Minimum of
one year related experience. Excellent problem solving and
communications skills are key to success in this position. The ability
to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet deadlines are important
attributes that the candidate must also possess. Communication; verbal
and written are both important and required. Experience supporting
enterprise applications is preferred, however, project support
experience with strong experience and knowledge of the MIS toolset would
be acceptable with the right candidate. EOE
