The CLS Franchise Integration Lead is a leader of the development and deployment of the J&J logistics strategies that enable best in class Go To Market capabilities, compliance and service management for the US region.
The CLS Franchise Integration Lead in the Customer Operations Department is responsible for managing the relationship between the franchise supply chains, commercial and quality organizations and the CLS functions. This manager represents Customer and CLS requirements related to Product Lifecycle Management and inbound and outbound processes. Specifically, this includes input to product design in new product development, inventory allocation to the customer, acquisitions and divestitures, and recall/withdrawal management. The cross-sector leader will champion process standardization while appropriately shaping custom logistics solutions to meet both customer and franchise needs. This manager will also collaborate as needed with worldwide CLS resources to achieve franchise goals and objectives.
The Franchise Integration Lead is responsible to connect the Franchise, Commercial, Quality, Finance, Supply Chain, and CLS teams by representing the franchise business goals and objectives to CLS and CLS goals and objectives to the franchise. Specifically, the Franchise Integration Lead acts as the CLS lead on all Commercial and Supply Chain New Product Launch, Product Change, and Product End of Life teams ensuring customer acceptability for any market introductions and/or impacts. This individual acts as the CLS lead on Global Product Stewardship Teams to ensure impacts to the US are accounted and planned for. He/She manages strategic requests from business partners for exceptions to typical CLS processes, inclusive of new distribution requirements (eg: Trade Show bundling, rework, temperature control, etc), and order management processes (customer holds/allocations, forward buy management, back order allocation and customer alignment, etc). This individual drives development of compliant new Distribution solutions based on product characteristics. This individual manages customer service implications of disruptions to normal business processes (i.e. industry work stoppage, inclement weather, and compliance issues)
The Franchise Integration Lead will lead the shaping of Deliver capabilities to meet the growth objectives of our franchises through Global connections to CLS resources worldwide, Customer focused product supply strategies, and New business capabilities. The successful candidate will lead the shaping of Deliver Capabilities to meet the growth objectives of our franchise through Flawlessly managing Recall and other market withdrawal activity, acting as primary commercial contact on behalf of CLS, Collaboration and integration with CLS HCCL and RCL organizations in customer partnership initiatives, and Metric management, improvement, and strategy development (Perfect Order) in collaboration with CLS Strategies and Capabilities.
The Franchise Integration Lead will deliver compliance and customer service excellence through collaboration, project management, process standardization and measurement. The areas of focus include, but are not limited to the following: Lead and coordinate CLS New Product Introduction, Product Change, and End of Life execution teams. Divestiture and Acquisition leadership of the Transitional Services Agreement. Compliance to processes and good distribution/order management practices (ie Inbound Standards, Perfect Receipt, Storage & Transportation temperature control, etc.)
The Franchise Integration Lead will drive financial efficiency by identifying opportunities, providing innovative options and overseeing the franchise component of the implementation of new solutions. The successful candidate will inspire motivate our teams to enable competitive advantage in our markets. The Franchise Integration Lead will have cross-sector responsibilities and may also lead CLS initiatives beyond Customer Operations’ scope.

Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelors degree (preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Logistics, or Operations) is required. A minimum of 5 +years of relevant Supply Chain experience is required. Proven success working in complex, highly matrixed, virtual, organization where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist is required. Multi-sector experience is preferred. Working knowledge of supply chain planning process is required. The successful candidate must demonstrate successful project management, negotiation and conflict resolution abilities. A strong analytical background is preferred. Order Management process and ERP experience is preferred. Knowledge and exposure/experience with multiple classes of Trade (mass merchandise, retail pharmacy, managed care, Medicare, mail order etc.) is preferred.
The successful candidate must demonstrate customer passion in addition to supply chain depth. The successful candidate must have customer-centric mindset. APICS, Six Sigma and/or LEAN Belt certification preferred. The successful candidate should have a strong business acumen and understanding of the end to end supply chain. The successful candidate will have strong collaboration skills, able to influence without authority, and have an innovative mindset. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and implement approved strategies to drive value is required. The successful candidate should have solid problem solving and analytical experience influencing skills. Proven Project management skills—PMP certification preferred. The successful candidate should be proficient in English (written and oral). This position is based in Los Angeles, CA and requires up to approximately 30% travel.
