Corporation is part of a global team trading in a wide range of steel products. They are currently seeking an Assistant Accounting Manager for our New York Headquarters.
Responsibilities include:
- consolidated monthly, quarterly and year-end closing and financial reporting.
- Oversee reporting packages from subsidiaries in Canada and Mexico.
- Lead and manage team handling accounts payables, receivables, general ledger and fixed assets.
- Monitor, analyze and provide recommendations related to the internal control structure of the company.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree along with 5 years relevant experience.
Experience in consolidated closing and financial reporting required.
Experience in dealing with foreign subsidiaries (Canada and Mexico a plus).
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, detail orientation and computer literacy are a must.
