A Senior Project Manager position is available in the Analytical Development and Quality Control (ADQC) department in US Biologics Technical Development. This position will report to Reed Harris, Senior Director of ADQC. The selected candidate will be responsible for a wide range of business activities including:• Will be a member of the ADQC leadership team, working closely with the senior level staff.
• Managing PlanSource function for all organizations in ADQC Department, including developing and communicating updates, reconciliation of actual staffing with models; running historical actuals vs. forecasts; run requested reports; identifying gaps, issues and making corrections.
• Establishing and maintaining a recruiting candidate database using conference attendee lists and other information from professional organizations. Set up communication of this information to recruiters.
• Assist with drafting, editing and formatting strategy documents, manuscripts and presentations for the ADQC Leadership Team. Preparation and distribution of communications from the leadership team, including periodic and annual summaries of decisions and actions.
• Administer and monitor contracts for in-sourced staff, including lab-based staff and technical writers.
• Track appointments to internal task forces and teams.
• May assign work to external contractors in editorial or administrative roles.
• Develop process and procedures for maintaining central files for SLA’s
• Preparation and distribution of communications from the leadership team
• Ensure the ADQC website is updated regularly; identify and develop appropriate content, work with department leaders to design site to fit the business need.
• Provide budget support through monitoring outside spending, capital spending and travel
Who You Are
QualificationsBA/BS in Science/Business or related field or equivalent work experience
7-10 years of analytical and/or process development experience
demonstrated project management capabilities such as planning, tracking and reporting progress against goals.
Able to enter, retrieve and analyze information from PlanSource.
work independently and efficiently, handling multiple priorities, and interacting with all staff levels.
Able to establish and maintain document databases.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex, high-impact projects and/or events.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate key decisions and outcomes to staff at all levels.
Demonstrated initiative and good decision making skills
Attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Plansource, Budget systems
