Our Macquarie Equipment Finance team in Bloomfield Hills is seeking a Lease Portfolio Asset Manager to join their team.
Macquarie Equipment Finance (MEF) provides global lease financing, asset management solutions, and remarketing of technology, healthcare, and capital equipment for enterprises around the globe. About the role:
Lease Portfolio Asset Manager is responsible for the management of MEF's portfolio of assets at the end of our customers' lease.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining the Oracle and LeasePlus portfolio of leased equipment on a Microsoft Access database (AMdb)
- Working with third party warehouse partners to remarket off-lease equipment received into inventory
- Reporting equipment returned off-lease to the appropriate team member and working with team member to reconcile and resolve problems.
- Managing service opportunities for all IT projects
- Maintaining an understanding of supply/demand information for second user equipment
About you:
To be successful you will have:
- 4+ years of industry experience in Leasing markets
- Proven success working with customers in the Leasing space
- Equipment and equipment leasing knowledge and valuation experience
- Product, Finance and Legal acumen related to the equipment leasing space
- Background in Computer Science preferred
- Ability to work within and refine/enhance/develop relational databases and data downloads/maintenance/archiving
- Programming and systems development skills and knowledge utilizing Visual Basic and SQL in the software programs Access, Excel and Oracle.
- Proven strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written, verbal and listening skills
- A proven history of excelling in organizational, planning and follow-up
- Exceptional analytical and negotiating skills
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Business ideal
