Under limited direction, anticipates and executes administrative deliverables for multiple departments.  Performs advanced administrative functions that support the needs of internal and external customers.  This position will support the administration of HR support services, the maintenance of HR documentation including recordkeeping, reporting, and provides administrative and project management support to the Human Resources management team.

Responsibilities    

In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Core Administrative
§  Serves as a department resource for ideas and direction

§  May process telephone calls and answer inquiries

§  Opens, sorts, and distributes  incoming mail, processes invoices, reports, and correspondence for principals

§  Manages website for the department they support

§  Assist with Department Webcasts

§  Produces correspondence and reports using appropriate software and tools

§  Establishes and maintains files and records

§  May maintain inventory and orders office supplies

§  Arranges travel reservations and accommodations for principals

§  Manages calendar for self and principals/customers

§  Creates and maintains associate files as required by laws and regulations

§   May assist with orientation process

§  Generate HR related reports



Workflow Management

§  May provide input to workplan, development goals and performance appraisal process

§  Develops systems to streamline and gain efficiencies in work processes



Special Projects

§  Coordinates and participates in the planning and execution of special events for department

§  Coordinates specialized or complex projects and meetings.

§  Participates on cross-functional teams as assigned.


Minimum Requirements    

· Background in Human Resources

·     Demonstrates ability to handle and maintain confidential information

·     Demonstrates professional maturity

·     High energy, creative, motivated, self-starter

·     Has the ability to multi task

Need to be familiar with CA Labor Laws

·     Strong organizational and time management skills and attention to detail

·     Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

·     Effective team player with the ability to work independently

Minimum five year administrative/customer service experience required, preferably in a Human Resource environment
