Manage the eDS team on a day to day basis including work prioritisation, budgeting, scheduling and tracking of activities

· Key Responsibilities:

o Manage the eDS team on a day-to-day basis, including work prioritisation, scoping, budgeting, scheduling and tracking of activities (project implementations, BAU, 3 rd level support, and technology upgrades/platform maintenance activities) and service level management

o Coordinate business and technical requirements and their implementation with the teams involved in the maintenance and delivery of the platform

o Resource management (permanent, contractor & vendor, shared services and cross locations) - demand/supply, activities, career and performance

o Create and ensure ongoing maintenance of service roadmaps within the service

o Work with the respective business groups, stakeholders and relevant forums to understand and analyse service project & BAU demand and requirements

o Support the creation of project documentation, including project initiation documents, project reviews, benefit realisation, project status reporting etc.

o Identify & escalate risks and issues for senior management attention as appropriate

o Organise and manage technical and business forums with the stakeholder groups

o Coordinate activities with application vendors and external service providers as required

Perform other additional duties as a member of the extended leadership team in Corporate Delivery required to support the effective management of the division.

Experience Required:

· Experience in managing technology teams (on-shore as well as off-shore)

· Strong stakeholder management up to senior management/executive director level

· Outstanding communication, presentation and organisational skills

· Experience in risk management, in particular information risk management

· Business requirements gathering/analysis and the ability to translate them into end-to-end solution designs, including process as well as technical designs

· Technology adept in particular around risk management/governance, surveillance and discovery applications, cloud and hosted solutions

· An understanding of and experience with surveillance and discovery obligations and platforms (Actiance, Symantec, NUIX or others) would be considered a strong plus

· Ability to document and analyse complex information and data

· Understanding of project lifecycle and project management, including the implementation of new technology applications or applying changes to existing applications

· Professional or tertiary qualification
