United Bank Limited NY is looking to recruit a Manager for the role of Business Development. This role involves significant external client engagement with a strong connection to Wholesale Banking products. This leadership role will be based in New York, focusing on business development, strategy and general management with strong focus on revenue performance.
This role requires identifying, developing and deepening strategic clients’ partnerships for UBL USA operations.

This role requires identifying, developing and deepening strategic clients’ partnerships for UBL USA operations.
Responsibilities:
- Enhancing the role of correspondent bank.
- Develop and execute exporters’ marketing to get LCs, documents and payments related to exports trade
- Sustain and increase bank’s market share in the area of trade finance business and home remittance.
- Recommend, design and develop products/services to meet the demands of existing customers.
- Ensure visibility of products and services to customers through effective marketing and provide excellent customer services ensuring higher standards.
- Coordinate with UBL Offices located globally to explore and promote business opportunities
- Provide career development through leadership, direction, guidance and coaching to staff in performance of their assignments.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and adhere to policies and procedures of the bank.
- This role may require significant travelling within USA.
Key Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years experience in the area of Corporate Banking, Financial Institutions or Wholesale Banking.
- Good working knowledge of Trade Finance and Cross-border payments are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and without supervision.
- Good knowledge of wholesale banking products with in-depth understanding of cross boarder payments/remittances and trade-finance transactions.
