Advisory Services Senior Consultant - Performance Improvement - Program Management - NEW009G1

We
currently are seeking a highly motivated Senior Consultant to support
client engagement teams, work with a wide variety of clients to deliver
professional services, and participate in business development
activities on strategic and global priority accounts.

Management team members work closely with the other competencies and
industry verticals comprising Advisory Services on engagements in areas
such as finance, supply chain, customer, healthcare and energy
utilities. It offers variety, challenge, responsibility and the

Our focus areas
within Program Management provide comprehensive services to design build
and operate large complex transformational programs:
- Program Management Office (PMO) Design Build and Operate: In this role you will work with our clients to establish a PMO or Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) infrastructure to mobilize and manage programs by applying a proven PMO framework and methodology based on industry recognized global standards. You will team with engagement leadership to design, establish and operate day to day program and governance structures tracking performance, status and benefit realization across workstreams. You will support a knowledgeable team with experience in planning, controlling and executing complex programs and PMO's.
- Program Transformation Project Management: Assist clients engaging in a complex transformation by providing the end-to-end program management oversight. This entails designing and managing the structures which will drive the business process transformation and IT enablement. Identifying program and workstream level risks, issues and interdependencies prior to them adversely affecting the program through your deep hands on technical and program management experience. In this role you will work with engagement leadership in a multi vendor environment to achieve targeted benefits, on time/on budget transformation enabled through optimal program design. You will assist in the development of organization and operating model structures, governance, escalation and decision frameworks to enable support and drive successful programs.
- Program Delivery Effectiveness: Our Program delivery effectiveness identifies the capability, infrastructure and design remediation actions needed to get the program capabilities to the client's intended maturity target level. Our Portfolio, Intake and Demand Management Assessments build the processes, criteria and infrastructure needed to identify and prioritize initiatives in a way that optimal results and benefits are achieved. We assist our clients in the design and implementation of their PPM capabilities and placing sound project tracking, resource and time management practices in place. In this role you will work with the client and your team to provide a clear picture of roadmap and drive remediation actions needed to achieve program maturity targets.

Responsibilities
Establish
relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently
deliver quality client services. Monitor progress, manage risk and
confirm key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected
outcomes. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant
to the client's business.
Demonstrate
in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Demonstrate
ability to assimilate to new knowledge. Possess good business acumen.
Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and
industry knowledge.
To qualify, candidates must have:
- a bachelor's degree and approximately 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 1-2 years of related work experience
- a degree with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Systems, Engineering and/or Business
- MBA, CPA and/or PMP are not required; however is a plus
- approximately 1+ years of experience as a team lead on large scale complex programs:
- Note: One is required, however more are preferred
- PMO Support/Analyst (Involvement with PMO setup and day-to-day support activities for a large complex program)
- Project Management (Variety of integrated planning and risk management experiences)
- Development (Waterfall, Spiral, Iterative and Incremental, Agile)
- Testing (includes test strategy, plan, procedure, scenario, case, and step creation and execution as well as defect identification, tracking and resolution)
- Business Requirements Analyst, System Analyst and/or Technical Requirements
- Quality Assurance (may be for a specific program or end-to-end QA function across a portfolio of programs)
- Note: One is required, however more are preferred
- experience creating, executing and maintaining integrated project workplans and risk logs
- end-to-end PPM exposure either through implementation or end user use of Planview, Clarity, Niku HP, Primavera or MS Project Server
- team lead experience within a technical workstream on a large ERP implementation (designed and maintained technical project documentation, architectural design, data modeling or writing technical specifications)
- collaborated with senior management and sales teams on project development, pre-sales meetings with clients and pursuit efforts
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- a willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 80%
- a valid driver's license in the US and a valid passport required; willingness and ability to travel internationally Apply online
