POSITION PURPOSE

MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Conduct in-home sales presentations and accurately measure and price jobs
  • Participate in sales meetings and product training at your local branch
  • Complete relevant paperwork in an accurate and timely manner

    NATURE AND SCOPE

    Position Reports to:  Sales Manager

    Number of Direct Reports: 0

    ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

    •             In-home residential sales in customers’ homes
    •             Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


    •             18 years or older
    •             Must pass the Drug Test
    •             Must pass the Background Check
    •             Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
    •             Access to reliable transportation to reach customers’ homes and local Home Depot stores

    EDUCATION REQUIRED

    The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.

    PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
  • Persuasive written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous sales experience desired
