Job Summary
Apple’s
Law, Government, and Security (LGS) Operations team is responsible for
delivering and maintaining core legal systems technology and all
related user and operational support. Our team's focus is to improve the
work lives of our stakeholders by providing LGS with the ability to
scale and manage a demanding and growing volume of work.
LGS Operations provides system implementations and maintenance,
technical services, outside counsel operational support, and internal
and external user support for all legal practice groups within Apple.
Our core systems and automation include eBilling, matter management,
workflow automation, reporting.
Job Summary
The LGS Operations team is seeking a senior project manager to lead
system implementation and maintenance release projects supporting core
Legal systems and the automation of workflows for all practice groups.
The successful candidate is very experienced with matter management
platforms, specifically TeamConnect 3.0 or higher and CSM 2.3 or higher,
and has expertise in:
Configuring and establishing data imports
Leveraging the platform for a wide range of workflow automation needs
Creating rules, blocks, and custom fields
Improving the user experience
Maintaining security model and user maintenance

- Ability to identify, clarify, and resolve issues and escalate them as needed.
- Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.
- Legal systems or industry knowledge and experience is a plus, but is not required.
- Familiar with Scrum project framework.

Description
Working closely with stakeholders and IS&T, the Operations EPM will
manage the implementation of new process automation and technology for
our user community. The EPM will also develop business requirements and
User Acceptance Testing for each scheduled release.
Major responsibilities include:
Ensure on-time progress and deliverables through collaboration and
leadership.
Manage projects to major milestones and to the overall project schedule.
Provide timely project status updates to business stakeholders and
management.
Identify, clarify, define, and escalate project risks as necessary.
Maintain key project governance documentation.
Monitor progress of all project phases and course-correct as necessary.
Maintain business stakeholder engagement and set expectations.
Monitor IS&T progress and facilitate progress check-in meetings.
Lead quarterly maintenance release review and prioritization sessions
with users.
Establish project or release scope and obtain business and IS&T
agreements.
Facilitate decision-maker meetings.
Facilitate user reviews.
Lead UAT with Business Analyst assistance.
Assess current processes, and recommend changes as needed.
Education
B.S. degree in related field is required.
