What You'll Do
As a Quality Engineer for John Deere's Seeding Group
in Moline, IL you will support various areas of manufacturing
engineering throughout the facility. Such areas of support will be:
- Programing lasers and press brakes.
- Supporting an assembly line.
- Supporting machining.
- Supporting weld
- Supporting painting.
- Supporting new product program launch.
What It Takes
We
need an excellent communicator, who thrives on solving problems and
working in a team environment. Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s
degree in Engineering, Science, Applied Mathematics, or equivalent
experience. In addition, we require:
- Experience facilitating project planning activities.
- Experience with data analysis.
- Experience of problem solving
- Knowledge in engineering principles, theory and practice.
- Demonstrated teamwork attributes.
- Skilled in Microsoft products, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work with multi-functional teams to investigate, gather and analyze data for continuous improvement.
- Ability to read blue prints.
A strong candidate will also have:
- Previous experience in manufacturing/Operations
- Previous experience in Quality Engineering/Supplier Quality
- ASQ certified Quality Engineer/Six Sigma Green Belt
- SAP/cProject experience
