Facilities Project Manager
 
The Facilities Project Manager is a non-management position that will lead a range of projects including roof replacements, office remodels, underground piping replacements, site structural studies.  The role includes establishing project budgets and schedules,   Managing engineering consultants, construction and the plant customer needs and flexing to the work.
 
Candidates must have excellent problem solving skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and projects, good oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Strong word processing and problem solving skills, exceptional attention to detail, thoroughness and follow-up, strong organizational skills; must be able to set priorities and work independently.
 
Requires individuals that can manage a demanding work load, and balance self-managed task/projects along with management support needs.
 
The ideal candidate should have the following:
  • Must personally believe Safety is the most important project deliverable
  • Self motivator and ability to be flexible and adaptive
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of national building codes.  
  • Knowledge of construction methods and procedures. 
  • Ability to understand engineering/construction drawings
  • Must be proficient at Excel, MS Project and familiar with AutoCAD

Qualifications

 
All applicants must:
 
Be 18 years of age or older
Have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent education
Background in engineering and/or project management required
