Description
Global Corporate Payments (GCP) continues to be a fast growing business. To maintain success, accelerating sales and driving profitable charge volume growth are key objectives. The Business Solutions & Analysis (BS&A) organization, within GCP, is instrumental in ensuring achievement of these objectives by delivering analytical measures to help the business evaluate performance and define the medium to long-term strategy of the Global Corporate Payments organization.
The Analyst position within BS&A is responsible for developing and implementing data driven analytical initiatives to provide insights that will enable business growth. The Analyst position reports to a Senior Manager, and together they will manage the creation and delivery of actionable performance metrics. The analyst will also conduct deep analysis to uncover trends and recommend insightful and actionable business solutions. The incumbent will also partner with colleagues from other regions on global initiatives. Responsibilities include:
* Develop and produce timely accurate management analytics for the office of the General Manager of Global Corporate Payments Americas, including tracking key business indicators, identifying developing trends, and originating deep dive analytics
* Develop and implement data driven strategic insights to optimize field performance
* Partner with Global Strategy and Analytics to develop and deliver enhanced executive office insights and analytics aligned with global reporting requirements
* Collaborate with BS&A teams in each Region to develop critical insights into business performance
* Design processes and work across the business to drive improved data integrity, governance & information management
* Produce reporting and insights to support the Global Dollar Card business as well as ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested
* Prepare incentive compensation payments for Global Dollar Card program sales
Qualifications
* Ability to monitor and analyze business performance to develop and implement reporting and analytical frameworks
* Keen attention to detail with deep quantitative and analytical skills and demonstrated creativity to solve problems and enhance reporting
* Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure while keeping a positive attitude
* Communication ability to write structured and compelling messages addressed to various levels within the organization
* Strong relationship skills and ability to build alignment among customers and key stakeholders
* Self starter with ability to solve ambiguous/ open ended business challenges
* Proven ability to deliver results
* Strong work ethic with an will-to-win and demonstrated personal excellence
* Experience working with SalesForce and business analysis tools such as MicroStrategy, as well as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to deliver impactful results
* Knowledge of SAS or SQL a plus
* Bachelor's degree required together with experience developing business analytics
