The Systems Specialist will design, develop, and provide customer support for the corporate Enterprise Content Management (ECM) environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Troubleshoot defects and perform system analysis to provide a means for solving technical and business-related problems/challenges or implement code-based performance improvements.
- Development of applications using Java and Oracle ADF technologies.
- Assist in the migration of corporate content into the ECM system.
- Creation of WebCenter Portal Pages using ADF templates and composer framework.
- Collaborate with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents that meet their needs.
- Work directly with IT personnel to discuss changes and challenges with integrations on internal applications.
- Facilitate and coordinate end user acceptance testing, change management, issue management, problem escalation and resolution.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is a plus, preferably in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS.
- 2 + years experience in Information Technology, specific to application development and support.
- 2 + years web development experience with Java.
- Experience with the following:
- Oracle ADF
- Oracle RDBMS: 10g/11g
- Toad, Sql
- Plus, Web-ADI
- Weblogic 11g
- Oracle WebCenter Content
- Oracle WebCenter Portal
- Strong problems solving, analytical and decision making skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-developer, team environment.
- Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and foster business expertise solutions.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
