While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; hear and talk; use close vision; and use hands to type.
  • Interact with repair shops to negotiate and document maintenance and repair costs, with the goal of keeping vehicles safe and cost efficient.
  • Evaluate truck repairs and process approvals related to the truck maintenance and DOT regulations of Fleet vehicles in an inbound call center environment.
  • Assist Fleet Drivers with Road Side Assistance, Track "Vehicle Down" repairs to timely completion, and ensure vehicle uptime is maximized.
  • Answer incoming calls to validate issues, repair history and pricing.

  • High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years' experience or training as a Medium Duty or commercial Truck mechanic, service writer or similar capacity or equivalent military experience.
  • Customer service experience.

  • Truck industry experience (Truck Mechanic, Truck Technician, Truck Service Advisor, Truck Technical Advisor, Truck Service Manager, Truck Parts Manager)
