Bently Nevada Systems Engineers have opportunities in new product development, existing product sustaining & support, test engineering, as well as new application development including small to large scale, short-cycle custom design tasks that leverage existing standard product platforms. Our engineers are involved in all aspects of product development.
Essential Responsibilities	In addition, you will: Have the ability to elicit functional system requirements and translate into executable system concepts, as well as identify alternative designs to bring those concepts to reality Stay abreast with current & emerging technologies & industry needs Identify current gaps & future game changing technologies Drive interoperability utilizing established & emerging standards Participate in industry standards bodies in the area of protection and condition monitoring systems Work in collaboration with industrial design, engineering, and product management to define user interface strategies applicable to user-types, brands, individual products, or entire suites Advocate for useful, usable, and desirable user experiences and articulate user experience issues and emergent properties concerns Work closely with Human Factors Engineering, design the UI architecture, interaction flow, and functional user interface, evolving designs through functional outlines, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and full visual compositions Manage multiple projects simultaneously Work closely with developers and analysts to communicate design specifications, develop requirements and provide design feedback Research user's needs as well as potential system enhancements Engage in all aspects of project development ranging from Voice of Customer, system-level design and requirements analysis through code / hardware development and testing Support customer questions regarding products, specifications, application, etc. Provide user input for user scenarios for sensors, devices and software Support NPI Product development as a Subject Matter Expert in Area of Domain Expertise Assist to develop Inquiry To Order, Order To Remission, Supporting Services Agreements processes in area of Domain Expertise Assist with Training (development and field training) Author and present White Papers, Technical Papers and Case Histories Develop Concepts of Operation, requirements and architectures for systems Perform other duties as required
Qualifications/Requirements	Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, or related Engineering discipline, or Computer Science from an accredited college or university Minimum of 8 years of Industrial Engineering, Product Development, or Systems Engineering experienceELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Ability and willingness to lift up to 60 lbs. and walk up large flights of stairs Ability and willingness to possess and maintain a valid Passport and Driver’s License Ability and willingness to travel, as required
