The QC Inspector will perform a variety of inspection tasks to determine compliance including receiving, in process and final inspection of parts, subassemblies or finished products using standard physical means, and/or mechanical or electrical testing equipment.
Essential Responsibilities	In addition, you will: Ensure that all requirements of the documentation have been met Record product inspection results, complete related documentation, and perform data entry and transactions after completion of inspection Ensure quality control policies and procedures are followed Be responsible for the identification and control of nonconforming product, and the maintenance of equipment calibrations Perform audits of quality systems, and other related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications/Requirements	High School Diploma / GED Minimum of 5 years inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, including welding, machining and assembly Minimum of 1 year in Quality Control Plans and the Quality Control Process Minimum of 1 year of experience using inspection gages micrometers and calipers
Additional Eligibility Qualifications	GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
Desired Characteristics	Associate’s Degree in Quality Assurance Technology, or training in Quality Systems including ISO A minimum of 5 years inspection experience in manufacturing environment, including welding, machinery and assembly Oil & Gas Turbo Machinery knowledge and experience Lean manufacturing experience CWI certification Ability to read and follow written instructions, analyze, and interpret working drawings, technical specifications, etc. Possess basic computer skills Ability to effectively work in a team environment Why join one great company when you can join many?
