The Production Operator will work in a team-based manufacturing environment performing a wide variety of semi-repetitive or unique precision assembly operations where methods and sequence of assembly are described by production drawings or detailed written instructions.
In addition, you will:
  • Set up and operate tubing equipment and sub assembly workstations on the dispenser production line in accordance with procedures & guidelines
  • Execute the daily build schedule using established processes and work instructions
  • Manage area backlog
  • Practice safe work habits to ensure an injury-free environment; actively involved with safety audits, near miss / first aid reports, safety hazard training, and Safety 10 Commandments
  • Maintain ISO standards within the zone
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in electrical / mechanical assembly
    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability and willingness to stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day, and lift up to 40lbs unassisted as required
  • GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
  • Experience using hand and torque driven tools
  • Basic PC skills
  • Ability to follow both verbal instructions and written procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively in fast paced team environment
  • High level of accuracy; keen attention to detail
