This role will lead the Company’s capital metrics reporting, including calculation and assessment of capital adequacy across a range of capital metrics. The Enterprise Capital Adequacy Manager will be responsible for oversight of Basel 1, Basel 3 (Standardized and ultimately advanced) RWA calculations, capital composition and ratio calculation. The Manager will also support ongoing Economic Capital efforts, including assessing level of adequacy in GECC’s Economic Capital surplus
The Manager will additionally be responsible for: proposing dividend levels; reviewing capital impacts of acquisitions and dispositions; developing appropriate narrative supporting capital adequacy in the Capital, Recovery and Resolution Plans; Capital Policy management; building out RWA forecasting and stress testing; successful completion of regulatory templates in support of the Company’s capital position. The Manager will develop controllership for Capital and as well provide capital training and pricing support. Primary focus of this role is to ensure the Company’s capital metrics are robust and reflective of GECC’s risk profile.
Role requires the ability to build technical expertise in capital management and regulatory rules and be able to apply the impacts to GECC. Essential responsibilities include:

  • Oversight of RWA calculations, capital composition and capital adequacy assessment.
  • Project management oversight for varied initiatives including RWA forecasting and stress testing, build out of regulatory template compilation, build of Basel 3 standardized calculations, more granular build of Basel 1 and leverage ratios.
  • Provide guidance on build out of capital controllership framework, including capital training, policy management, and pricing of new business.
  • Build out of a quarterly ICAAP process to continually assess the Company’s capital adequacy.
  • Maintenance of capital ratio target setting.
  • Implement routines for RWA optimization.
  • Coordinating internal engagement with Lines of Business and other support functions as it relates to capital utilization, optimization opportunities and overall GECC capital adequacy.
  • Adhoc presentation development.
  • Basic Qualifications::
  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 6+ years of experience in Finance, Risk, or a Graduate of a GE Leadership Program, Corporate Audit Staff (CAS).
  • Proven ability to multi-task, lead cross-functional teams and influence others
  • Experience leading data gathering efforts across several functions or businesses
  • Strong data management skills
