Experience IT Organization has an opening within the Network &
Infrastructure Services (NIS) Team. We are looking for a senior program
manager to assist with the release and implementation of network
technologies supporting Microsoft IT services.
The program manager will run select programs supporting NIS. Specific services include Data Center, Load Balancing, Wired Network and Wireless Network. In addition, the program manager will oversee multiple projects and service improvement plans supporting these services. The ideal candidate will be well versed in service operations, has depth in technologies that support online services and have worked in 24x7 services organizations. The candidate should have 5-10 years of project management experience and hold a PMP (or CAPM) certificate. Basic knowledge in network technology is a must including; routing protocols, IP addressing, large datacenter switching architectures, network operations, load balancing solutions and storage technologies, A foundational knowledge of ITIL/MOF and IT/Operations experience is preferred. The program manager should possess excellent communication skills, work well in a diverse team and have the ability to manage across large organizations. They will manage milestones and ensure the projects stay on schedule and within budget while aligning to the originally defined scope. Basic Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ experience project or Program Management PMP certification (or similar Project management credential) Minimum 3 years’ experience in network infrastructure or telephony field Preferred Skills: BA/BS in Business Computer Science or related field Effective forecasting and budget management Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal Basic knowledge of network technologies and protocols Must be a team builder and leader who can create and lead direct and virtual teams ITIL certification IT Operations and Lifecycle Management Six Sigma experience UEIT |
