This role provides the opportunity to be part of a global program spanning multiple lines of business within the Global Wholesale bank comprising of primarily the Investment banking, Treasury securities and services, wealth management and corporate banking divisions of JP Morgan. The role is for the key position of Sr. Developer within the Platform Engineering Team of the strategic Client Onboarding system. The system is developed from scratch and it manages the end to end on boarding process, enforces KYC and other regulatory controls and integrates with multiple systems within the firm.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the successful delivery, adoption and rollout of reusable components that will be used and extended across multiple functional modules of the system. The candidate will report into Tech Delivery Mgr of the Platform Engineering team and will work closely with the Architecture team and the Application Development teams to ensure quality as per established standards and guidelines.

· Design and Development of key reusable components of the platform

· Liaise with the BAs in translating business requirements into suitable scalable design solutions

· Provide technical assistance and oversight to Application Development teams

· Ensure applications adhere to all Global Reference data architectural standards and act as key liaison with Global Reference Data architecture team

· Implement best practices for software code development, re-use and componentization of functions

· Work with program management to ensure close scrutiny, control over technical deliverable in adherence with project plan and ensure Green status listing in Capacity and Resiliency programs

· In-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization

· Dependency management with all necessary technology teams for application integration points

· Root Cause Analysis assistance of production support teams

· Impact analysis critical hardware/software changes to production based on complexity
