  • Performs compliance testing in relation to prospectus, SEC, IRS, and board approved operating requirements.
  • Prepares fund financial statements as required.
  • Prepares and files regulatory forms (ex: N-SAR, 24F-2).
  • Prepares and/or accumulates complete and accurate audit work papers.
  • Prepares financial materials for Prospectus and SAIs
  • Prepares reports for Board of Directors Meetings
  • Completes mutual fund surveys.
  • Reviews and assesses fund total return and SEC yield statistics
  • Reviews fund expenses, periodically recommends adjustments to fund budgets and completes client reporting requirements.
  • Forecasts and analyzes fund earnings to recommend income distributions per share on an as-needed basis.
  • Applies a solid understanding of all policies and procedures.
  • Completes additional assignments requiring a heightened response and/or elevated technical ability. 
  • May assist manager by supporting junior staff development and performs limited, preliminary, product review as assigned.
  • Equivalent to a B.S. degree in Accounting, Business or related field.
  • 2 to 5 years of related fund accounting or administration.
  • Knowledge of securities processing, general ledger accounting, and SEC and IRS compliance requirements. 
  • Proven abilities in accounting, project management, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency and working knowledge of various software applications, including the GCOM (financial reporting system), CRD (Charles River) compliance system and other applications as identified by your manager.
