Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in this field. 
  • Excellent understanding and experience with the HW/SW architecture and interoperability of a complex systems
  • Experience with the following tests and technologies is required:
  • Radio Frequency or Microwave
  • Analog signals and functional testers
  • Communication buses
  • Digital systems with CPU, memory, DSP, peripherals, …
  • Test fixtures: electrical and mechanical aspects
  • Signal integrity and power supply
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skill
  • Knowledge of data analysis and statistics
  • Ability of being able to efficiently multitask between multiple projects
  • Willingness and ability to travel: 25% travel estimate in 5-10 day trips
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including effective presentation 
  • Dynamic and “can do” attitude, with the desire to work with great teams and fantastics products

Description

Responsible for managing board level and radio factory tests for new product introduction (NPI) from prototype to mass production. This includes documentation of all the ongoing tests and developing/executing project plans, specifying test stations and diagnostics for testing product features, specifying/implementing test process control, test data collection, and organizing the manufacturing and delivery of testers and fixtures for the production lines. Be the main contact concerning board level and radio tests and processes mentioned above with our different Contract Manufacturers (CMs). Interact with internal groups at Apple to ensure that tests are being performed adequately and on time. Working closely with the development teams, early in the product development lifecycle, to create tests for functionality and performance of the mobile products. Host regular test project meetings with hardware and software cross functional teams, to track features, requirements and issues,  Responsible for the development of test procedures, test plans and test reports  conducted at Apple and by the CMs. Responsible for communicating to management and Technical Staff the outcome of all of the tests and corrective actions. This position requires ability to deal with dynamic and rapidly changing environment requiring decision making with ambiguous information.

Education

BS EE/ME/Physical Sciences.
