Job Summary
The
Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for all research,
design, development, test, and qualification of camera hardware for
Apple products. This team is seeking a board-level electrical design
engineer to for EE implementation on camera hardware.
Key Qualifications
- Experience with EE design for digital circuits, including high-speed interfaces.
- Ability to use all types of electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes and multi-meters.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task on many projects and project types.
- Proficient verbal and written English language skills.
- Occasional travel may be required, but is not a critical component of this position.
Description
Core
Responsibilities:
-Schematic capture for circuits containing digital image sensors,
microcontrollers, low-noise power supplies, LED drivers, and high-speed
serial interfaces
-Direct layout and/or supervision of layout for PCB, Flex, and Ceramic
substrates
-Electrical test and validation of all electrical designs
-Author clear and comprehensive electrical test documentation for
manufacturing partners to complete electrical test and validation
-Simulation, test, and validation EMI and ESD performance of all designs
Education
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Additional Requirements
Desired:
- Experience with Cadence Allegro is a plus
- Experience with layout of circuits in ceramic is a plus
- Experience with designing circuits in the presence of highly sensitive cellular or other radios is a plus.
