| We are seeking a WebSphere Engineer who is responsible for
developing and designing scripts in an IBM WebSphere Application Server
(WAS) environment. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for
Application installation, tuning, JVM (Java Virtual Machine)
configuration, Application Root Cause Analysis, and Heap Dump Analysis.
Candidate is expected to provide leadership and direction for the WAS
environment. Must have specific recent experience with WAS version 6 and
7. Should have experience in both AIX and Red Hat Linux. Should have
experience with WAS and LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)
integration, system deployments and application upgrades. Demonstrated
experience of capacity planning, performance management, and security
compliance (Nist 800-53), as well as the tools and processes that
monitor the operational status of WAS. Should have experience with
ITCAMS (Tivoli Composite Applications Manager). The candidate Should
have reasonable knowledge of Java and JavaScript. Should have experience
with Scripting, Cron, and Perl. Should have good technical writing and
speaking ability and must be able to be comfortable in a high stress
environment. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment. The
actual work location for this position is Suitland, MD. Selected
candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their
metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel
based on assigned project demand. Travel requirements may vary but could
be up to 100%. Candidates are not able to refuse project based on
