Are you an experienced Dev who lives and breathes business intelligence in a fast moving and growing environment?
The Commerce Transaction Platform team is looking for an experienced Senior Dev with a background in business intelligence and hopefully a slant towards online systems operational data!

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role you will be leading a team of vendor developers building operational intelligence and productivity tooling in the Commerce Transaction Platform. It involves working in the following subject areas: Incident Management (TTX), Monitoring Management, Capacity Management, Service Requests, Server, SAN, and other data center device utilization and capacity, as well as compliance. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate solid BI skills in SQL, Cubes, ETL, and SSRS as well as BI strategy and roadmap planning and progression.

The candidate should be able to provide accurate and timely resolutions to challenging technical problems while representing the team in a positive, professional manner. Ability to multitask and reprioritize work in a changing business climate. Excellent verbal and written communications are critical.

Other job responsibilities include:

• Define, design, measure key system metrics and implement the ETL, Aggregation, and Distribution required for each
• Expose the top level metrics and analysis with high impact reporting
• Generate actionable insights from data exhaust for improving operational understanding and recommended actions
• Provide strong and reliable operational intelligence to peers and leaders in Service Team verse

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience as an engineer and/or engineering lead with hands-on, front-line responsibilities in business intelligence
• Demonstrated solid coding skills in C#, SSRS, and SharePoint as a definite plus
• Good expertise in Database technologies (Relational and Multi-Dimensional), OLAP, SQL/MDX is preferred
• Great design and problem solving skills, with a strong bias for quality and engineering excellence
• Good knowledge and experience in data warehousing, data processing (ETL), metrics/measurement, business intelligence
• Hands-on approach to data analysis
