Job description

Senior Globalization Software Engineer. IBM Corporation. Las Vegas, Nevada: Implement and oversee functional end-to-end globalization process, ensuring cross-team compliance during development. Lead release related deliverables and interactions with translation centers. Interact with customers to determine and resolve product issues, and work with product management to size and scope enhancements based on customer feedback. Design and develop products, processes, software systems, and scientific applications, which require the use of broad software engineering, globalization industry standards, and experience to develop localized solutions for complex systems. Utilize Java EE platform and related libraries. Utilize TRIRIGA database model and localization tables, develop on Oracle and MSSQL. Work with multi-lingual implementations using TRIRIGA Language Manager and Label manager tools. Lead globalization projects using the XLIFF localization file format. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Staff Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, IT Eng, SW Dev Eng, or related. 40 hours per week, 9:00am to 5:00pm. R169 Education/Experience Degree: Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience, or a Master's degree plus one (1) year of experience. Field of study: Computer Science, Engineering, or related. Experience: One (1) year of experience as a Staff Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, IT Eng, SW Dev Eng, or related.

Required Bachelor's Degree At least 1 year experience in Staff Software Engineer, Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, IT Eng, SW Dev Eng, or related English: Basic knowledge

Preferred Master's Degree
