Areas of responsibility include bank deposits pricing, analytics, behavioral tracking. Interacting with Business leaders & Regulators on a frequent basis for strategy discussions and tactical updatesCollaborating with Business Units, Risk, Liquidity and Finance teams across GECRB, RF & GE Capital. Responsible for specific area within financial planning, analysis and reporting for a sub-business, product line or country segment within a business unit.
  • Manage holistic strategies for pricing, modeling (design, development, validation, calibration, documentation, approval, implementation, monitoring and reporting), in collaboration with Marketing, Risk & Finance
  • Conduct analyses to validate the performance of existing quantitative risk models, recommend changes, and lead gap closing projects
  • Serve as overall project management resource responsible for ensuring adequate quantitative model coverage for all bank deposit issues
  • Produce management level dashboards, ad hoc reporting and analysis to senior management and regulators
  • Manage model supporting data warehouses in terms of accuracy and completeness
  • Drive standardization of processes that ensure timely generation and retrieval of reporting and analytics data, including support of model management framework.
  • Partner with GECC’s business units, Risk Management and Liquidity functions in the planning, development, implementation and operationalization of advanced behavioral bank deposit models
  • Manage multiple aspects of the monthly and quarterly financial closing and reporting processes
  • Develop short-range outlook forecasts and plan to achieve net income targets.
  • Analyze variances and trends to determine changes in key business metrics vs. expectations and review with leadership team.
  • Contribute to the financial modeling improvements in planning and forecasting models to enhance process efficiency, support new initiatives and to accurately capture the changing economics or structure of the business.
  • Mentor junior resources on the team.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of finance experience
  • Minimum 3 years of financial modeling skills
  • Experience managing projects.
  • Proficient use of financial systems and analysis tools including Microsoft Office (eg. Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Experience in Retail Deposits analytics
  • 5 to 10 years experience of finance/risk experience
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Financial Management Program (FMP) grad or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) grad
  • Experience in accounting or financial analysis
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to analyze complex issues, develop appropriate action plans and delivers the results timely
  • Ability to lead projects and assignments
