The Data & Templates Analyst role in GECC’s Capital Management team is responsible for supporting the building and maintenance of required regulatory capital schedules including the Y9-C (HC-R) and CCAR templates, including procuring granular information required. The role is responsible for working with the Metrics Reporting Analyst to build more granular standardized Basel calculations and Leverage Ratios.
The role provides multiple opportunities to communicate results to senior management and work with other support partners and Business Units. Position offers strong collaboration with Finance and Risk functions at GECC HQ and Business Units provides a great opportunity to learn about all of GECC’s segments.
  • Build and maintain required regulatory capital schedules
  • RWA calculation support for regulatory capital models
  • Assist with build of more granular standardized Basel calculations and Leverage ratios
  • Maintain solid understanding of rapidly evolving regulatory capital requirements, including Basel rules, ICAAP Supervisory Requirements, the Federal Reserve System's regulations regarding capital planning for U.S. bank holding companies and the Dodd-Frank Act
  • Present results to management
  • Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors’ degree with 3+ years financial/risk analysis experience, or FMP/RMP/CAS Graduate (internal GE only)
  • Proven analytical and data management skills
  • Experience leading reporting efforts across several functions or businesses
