Asset Management Services, part of GE’s
Commercial Aviation Services, has an immediate opening for Receptionist,
reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager. Our Receptionist
provides the first impression for GECAS AMS when customers, visitors and
employees call or visit our offices. Our ideal candidate will interact
directly with existing and potential clients, as well as with other
departments within our company.
Promptly
and politely answer the office switchboard and all inquiries while
accurately directly all incoming calls to the appropriate GECAS party
Maintain and exude a professional and courteous demeanor when greeting and working with all visitors, customers and employees
Greet visitors and ensure they comply with GECAS AMS
security procedures such as signing in, badging and connect them with
their appointed party
Proactively check phone messages and route to the appropriate party
Support office administrative procedures. Tasks include but
are not limited to booking conference rooms, tracking and ordering
supplies and coordinate the ordering of special items
Assist the office manager and GECAS AMS Senior Leadership team in various clerical duties as needed
Perform administrative requests (typing, faxes, copies, scanning, document updates, etc.) with timeliness and accuracy
Sort and distribute incoming mail and manage outgoing mail with a commitment to act on urgent items
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of reception area
Maintain confidentiality of GECAS AMS business activities
Ensure strict compliance with the “GE Spirit and Letter”
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent
Minimum 3 years in administrative support/ receptionist
work; Work experience in a professional services or office setting is
highly preferred.
Track record of high level of dependability in attendance and punctuality.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
