Within GE Healthcare Global Services, the Global Asset Management (GAM) organization develops and delivers disruptive innovation to improve hospital operations. Hospital Operations Management (HOM) optimizes the utilization of all assets and staff in a health network to improve the patient experience and their safety while maximizing efficiency and reducing waste while making data relevant for healthcare providers. Lead Hospital Operations Management (HOM) commercialization efforts by providing leadership to other sales professionals and specialists while driving growth through key account sales strategies, awareness, and partnerships. Collaborate with GE Account Executive/Management teams, other internal GE Commercial channels and P/L’s to position HOM as part of GEHC’s operations management strategy. Ultimately responsible for attaining the overall sales orders objectives.
The HOM Commercial Leader will lead and manage all aspects of the commercial/sales process in their assigned area of the USCAN region for GE’s HOM solution. In order to achieve the targeted orders plan for the GAM business, this role will execute the commercial strategy laid out by the GAM Commercial leadership to drive organic growth in the marketplace. In addition, the HOM Commercial Leader will cultivate and leverage customer relationships that immediately satisfy customer needs as well as enable long-term growth for additional solutions.
*Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales/Marketing, Economics or other related field
*10+ years of consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation
*5+ years of enterprise grade IT based solutions sales experience, preferably within healthcare
*Demonstrated repeated ability to meet sales targets and operating plans set forth.
*Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a provocative-based sales process and approach
*Proven strong communication skills to synthesize complex issues and communicate into simple messages; excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
*Ability to travel minimum of 50%, and up to 100% domestic and possible international
*Demonstrated leadership ability to navigate and manage leadership across multi-disciplinary businesses as well as Managers through CxO levels of a business
*Demonstrated problem solving abilities with a rapid grasp of new concepts
*Demonstrated consulting, influencing and facilitation skills
*Effective in a demanding, fast-paced, customer-focused environment
*Proven examples of professional presence with well-developed interpersonal and listening skills
*Demonstrated organizational, planning and “multi-tasking” skills
