| • Leads Business Intelligence design and implementation activities in support of new and ongoing projects and programs
• Provides direction to other team members to complete tasks in support of new and ongoing projects and programs • Sets and administers standards for overall organization's relational database structure/architecture (currently, MS SQL Server, ORACLE) • Researches database technology, determines business requirements, proposes changes, and develops migration and implementation plans, may execute projects based on these activities • Ensures that plans for database technologies integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure • Advises management on technology purchases and on future projects or environment upgrades/modifications | |
| • Experience with process quality methodology
• Experience in architecting global, large-scale applications, which span multiple countries and business units • Experience with complex data modelling methodologies and tools • Experience with two or more database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, etc.) • Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously • Drive to lean new technology and build in-depth expertise • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver • BS Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent • Minimum five years IT experience • Experience working in an anatomical pathology or other type of health care clinical laboratory • Strong organizational and problem solving skills • Ability to work in a team environment • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers and employees along with external clients and customers • Ability to maintain manage multiple workflows and coordinate resources to meet deadlines • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills | |
