Job summary
Responsible
for the functional operations support activities related to EY’s
global People infrastructure and application solutions. This position
requires an ability to manage all functional operations aspects of the
assigned product(s) and to coordinate these activities with the
associated central team groups. This function will also work closely
with business product owners and sponsors, as needed, to ensure success
of this support function.
Responsibilities

Builds and maintains effective working relationships with People Infrastructure, client, vendor and IT Services teams as needed.

Accountable for and manages all aspects of functional operations activities for assigned portfolios of work.

Assist, where needed, in the preparation of the demand process business case.

Coordinate, along with the IT Services team, the delivery of product updates and enhancements.

Acts as the primary escalation point on functional product or service related issues.

Identifies and communicates impacts of solutions to affected products/services managers.

Liaison with global/area working groups as needed.

Support strategic product direction set by product sponsor/owner.

Manage the lifecycle of functional defects and enhancements using established processes & tools

Assist in the prioritization of functional defects and enhancements based on urgency, importance, business impact, cost. etc.

Assist in the design and development of functional requirements.

Follow budget guidance.

Support functional deployments as required and as agreed in advance with project teams and People Infrastructure leadership.

Performs primary analysis and provides feedback on diverse requirements from multiple countries.

Assess and make recommendations to the Product Manager based on the needs of our customers (defect, enhancement).

Work with the customer and various teams to evaluate and prioritize defects and enhancements as required.

Understand and communicate potential impacts of recommended changes.

Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Notes applications and basic knowledge of MS Project.
Experience
- A minimum of 3-6 years of experience.
- Product knowledge and experience with Taleo.
Education
- High school diploma, or equivalent work experience; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business related discipline preferred; Business Process Certifications preferred.
