Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field
- 2 years of software development experience
- C++ software development
Equivalent Essential
- Associate's degree in the same fields plus 7 years of stated essential qualifications ~ OR
- High school diploma (GED) plus 9 years of stated essential qualifications
Additional
- Strong communication skills
- Strong math skills including geometry, trigonometry, matrix algebra and graph theory
- Strong knowledge of C++, including pointers, callbacks, and memory management
- Strong knowledge of user interaction design
- Aptitude for data visualization
- Some knowledge of statistical analysis
- Ability to work and learn independently with priorities and deadlines
Preference
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Experience with JMP
- Experience with interactive statistical graphics products
- Experience with dynamic GUI creation without a layout tool
- Positive online reputation (stackoverflow, projecteuler, or similar sites)
