Description   As a Software Developer with JMP, you will be responsible for writing and maintaining C++ code for a large desktop application with a timed release cycle. In particular, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing graphical infrastructure code to support statistical visualizations, including interfaces at the C++ API level, scripting level, and user interaction level. You will perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications   Essential Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field 2 years of software development experience C++ software development Equivalent Essential Associate's degree in the same fields plus 7 years of stated essential qualifications ~ OR High school diploma (GED) plus 9 years of stated essential qualifications Additional Strong communication skills Strong math skills including geometry, trigonometry, matrix algebra and graph theory Strong knowledge of C++, including pointers, callbacks, and memory management Strong knowledge of user interaction design Aptitude for data visualization Some knowledge of statistical analysis Ability to work and learn independently with priorities and deadlines Preference Experience with Visual Studio Experience with JMP Experience with interactive statistical graphics products Experience with dynamic GUI creation without a layout tool Positive online reputation (stackoverflow, projecteuler, or similar sites) Additional Information To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States, and should not require, now or in the future, sponsorship for employment visa status.
