  • Responsible for providing clients with enhance financial statement reviews and client agreed upon procedures reviews over their control environment
  • Responsible for acting as a liaison to client auditors performing financial statement audits and agreed upon procedures reviews
  • Responsible for the direction and training of subordinate team leaders and staff.  Typically manages a staff of 3 to 20+ employees.
  • Allocates and coordinates resources and handles personnel related issues
  • Participates as part of the sales team to bring in new business
  • Develop proposals and discuss potential add-on prices for unique services
  • Reviews a broad array of financial, compliance, and tax matters.
  • Assess operational effectiveness and make suggestions to streamline functions.   
  • Responsible for selling Fund Administration services to State Street clients
  • Manage relationships with the goal of renewing ongoing and bringing in additional business.
  • Oversee the preparation and dissemination of information to clients and regulatory authorities
  • Evaluate current methods and processes and communicate how to effectively implement changes and improvements
  • Responsible for execution of overall business plan in assigned areas
  • Responsible for the direction and training of subordinate managers and staff
  • Manage relationships with key contacts in client companies, making sure that requests are being met and that clients are satisfied with the level of service
  • Manages multiple clients
  • Equivalent to a B.S. degree in Accounting, Business, or related field.  CPA required. MBA is preferred.
  • Fourteen+ years of management experience, preferably with a public accounting, audit firm or with a financial services organization
  • Experience performing controls reviews and/or auditing and/or preparation of financial statements
  • Ability to develop business relationships, both within and outside of the organization
  • Strong problem-solving, time management, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage under pressure
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple competing tasks, and execute upon concurrent assignments
  • Able work independently and to managing multiple tasks / priorities / projects
  • Excellent presentation, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to initiate, effectively manage and improve relationships, both within the company and with peers in the industry and current / prospective clients
  • Serves on internal and external committees and industry associations
  • Computer proficient.  PC skills including office applications.
  • Advanced negotiation, managerial and leadership skill
  • Ability to act as a role model for the company and within the industry
  • Expert on SEC, IRS and GAAP accounting requirements and laws as they apply to investment companies
