The ERM Operations & Technology Solutions team defines and delivers risk product strategy & solutions through IT maximization, to increase risk management operational efficiencies, and to provide divisional financial planning & management.  The team strives to deliver global, integrated risk product capabilities that increase the organizations agility and optimize execution, making State Street's risk processes faster, better and more cost effective.
Responsibilities include
  • Assists in the creation of detailed plans for the BCBS 239 Program plans to define ERM to help define ERM long term Program strategy and roadmap to reach regulatory compliance within FED mandated timeframes
  • Support Business solutions architects to create and assist in adoption of standards to capture, document and store requirements
  • Drives the creation of business case documentation and requirements analysis of cross divisional (ERM, Finance and Treasury) regulatory program initiatives
  • Supports the detailed  documentation of the target state architecture for BCBS 239 Initiative
  • Actively engages and executes assignments for large and complex regulatory related business solutions initiatives across ERM to ensure there is consistency in solution capabilities for all efforts related to risk data aggregation and reporting
  • Partners with Information Technology to ensure proper communication of business requirements to ensure smooth implementation workstreams
  • Drives creation and execution of testing conditions and acceptance criteria for new data management processes
Communication and Relationship Management
  • Acts as a relationship manager engaging business leads and peers, interfaces with senior leaders across the organization; ensures service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with both internal and external clients and business partners (i.e., third party consulting, Credit Operations/Reporting, Treasury, Finance and IT)
  • Persuades and influences courageously at all levels of the organization
  • Communicates recommendations to management/ ERM and business leaders through effective written and oral communication
  • Encourages a customer focused, team driven mentality, mentors and develops direct reports. 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, MBA a plus
  • Project leadership and project management skills considered a plus
  • Very strong relationship management with demonstrated ability to work across business lines
  • Proven experience with business solution and data analysis to meet critical business needs
  • Financial Services background and solid understanding of Risk and Regulatory domain is highly desired
  • Good understanding of State Street businesses is favorable
  • Must display an ability to drive tasks through to completion
  • Demonstrated record of leading others to achieve goals
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
