The Corporate and Asset Finance team
is looking to hire a Flow Settlements Officer to support the Equipment
Finance Division in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
Macquarie Equipment Finance (MEF) is a global business providing specialized equipment leasing, asset finance and asset management solutions for a wide range of technology-based equipment and other asset classes. Our Flow platform was created to meet the demand and opportunities in the small to medium ticket leasing arena though four main channels (Vendor, Broker, Dealer, and Direct).
This business is built using best in class systems and processes in order to maximise back office efficiency while providing an excellent customer experience.
With this business opportunities have arisen for a Settlements Officer to join the business, reporting to the Flow North America Operations Manager. The Settlements Officer will facilitate the processing of lease transactions through the entire end-to-end lease process and will take ownership of ensuring the lease transactions are processed correctly and in a timely manner.
FLOW SETTLEMENTS OFFICER
Key Responsibilities:
Operational duties related to account processing across the entire lease process, including:
- Assisting with the correct loading of applications into Aspire
- Generating lease documentation
- Reviewing executed documentation and performing various fraud prevention checks and calls
- Follow up for missing or incorrectly completed documentation
- Data entry in preparation of booking
- Answering and managing customer service call
- Building and maintaining relationships with introducers, internal operational teams and customers
- Communicating with customers, introducers and internal stake holders
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues related to transactions
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 3-5 years of work experience and a strong understanding of the steps required in processing a lease, from application through to termination. Direct experience in all areas is not required.
- Team and service orientation
- Demonstrated self-motivation with an ability to use own initiative and drive in execution of responsibilities
- Ability to work across different tasks and demonstrated comfort with multi-tasking
- Ability to deal with high volumes of work within tight deadlines
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Good PC skills, including ability to work with Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in using Lease+ lease management system
- Ability to work across multiple systems and products.
- Displays good attention to detail
- Process design, review and improvement experience will be advantageous but is not a requirement
- College degree preferred, but not required
