Summary Description
- The AVP Finance Analyst position will be a key contributor to two major Finance operational processes
- A successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with solid research and analytical expertise capable of exercising quality controls, identifying process change opportunities, and managing relationship with other groups.
- Leader of the Incentives COE, supporting the administration of two sales incentives plan:
- Manages staff and controls financial model calculation,
- Communication to key stakeholders, including the senior management
- Administration and logistic coordination with senior management to ensure on time payment processes
- Business partnering with HR in plan designing and modeling
- Key member of the centralized AUM (Asset Under Management) function:
- Drives the AUM transformation process initiated around reinforcement of governance and control matrix, enhancement of technology application and reduction of close process timeline
- Supervises AUM close process , identify change opportunities and execute
- Responsible for communications to key stakeholders across the organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to liaise with business
- 5-10 years of professional experience in a Finance analyst role; preferrably in financial services industry
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance; knowledge of asset management industry a plus, CPA a plus
- Desire to achieve/maintain a high standard of quality and accuracy, with attention to detail
- Independent initiative to analyze data and information with a drive to develop value-added solutions
- Organizational apptitude, be able to self-manage and prioritize tasks
- Collaborative nature and goals
