Job description
The Data Center Operations Manager is responsible for driving the build-out and ongoing management and operations of the Data Center facility. Candidate should have a well rounded knowledge of all facilities equipment (chillers, pumps, VFDs, CRACs, switch gear, generators, UPS, PDUs, breakers, load bank connections, transformers, fuel polisher, glycol tanks, air separators, valves, vault connections, electrical and cooling designs. Activities will include providing quality assurance of standard operating requirements (network, server, and storage devices), oversight for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP), as well as planning for future demand. This role will be responsible for environment controls, power quality, facility repairs, etc. This role will require interfacing with various technology disciplines, 24x7x365 management and oversight approximately 4-5 direct reports supporting activities across all processing platforms. The actual work location for this position is Chambersburg, PA. Selected candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand. Travel requirements may vary but could be up to 100%. Required
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • At least 3 years experience in Data Center Operations Management.
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • English: Fluent
Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years experience in multiple disaster recovery scenarios.
  • At least 3 years experience in problem solving process, incident management, problem management, crisis management and root cause analysis.
  • At least 3 years experience in facilitating high quality support to internal or external customers through proactive initiatives and responsive resolution to help desk and\or service request tickets.
  • Security clearance of Secret - Active
